Using Generated Assets
Add dynamic elements like arrows, markers, gradients, and Lottie animations.
Opening the Assets Panel
Click the "Assets" (window icon) tab on the left-hand side to open the Assets Panel.
What are Assets?
Assets are pre-made or generated elements you can quickly add to your videos. This includes generators for creating custom elements and a library of ready-to-use animations.
Generators
Click on a generator button to open a dialog with customization options.
- Countdown Timer: Create an animated countdown video.
- Gradient: Design a custom background with a smooth color gradient.
- Number Marker: Generate a numbered circle, useful for pointing out items in a sequence.
- Arrow: Create a customizable arrow to direct the viewer's attention.
- Mosaic: Generate a pixelated block, perfect for censoring parts of a video.
After customizing, click "Save to Media Library". The generated asset will be created as an image or short video clip and added to your Media Library, ready to be dragged onto your timeline.
Lottie Animations
The Lottie tab provides a library of simple, lightweight vector animations. You can add these to your timeline just like any other media file. Some Lottie files have properties that can be edited in the Effects Panel.
Pixabay Integration
The Pixabay tab allows you to search for stock photos and videos. To use this feature, you must first provide your own free Pixabay API key in the Project Settings panel. Once configured, you can search for media and add it directly to your project.
