Removing Video Backgrounds

Opening the Tool

In the main header, click on the "Tools" (hammer icon) button and select "Background Removal" (magic wand icon). This will open the background removal dialog.

Uploading Your File

Upload the video or image file you want to remove the background from. For the best results, the file should have a clear, well-lit subject and a background that is as simple and distinct from the subject as possible. A busy, poorly lit, or low-contrast background will make it much harder for the AI to produce a clean result.

Processing the Media

Click "Process Video" or wait for the image to process automatically. The AI will analyze the media to identify and remove the background. For videos, you will see a progress bar during this step.

Saving the Result

Once complete, you can preview the result with a transparent or colored background. Click "Save to Library" to add the new, background-free clip to your Media Library, ready to be used in your project.
